Big shout out to A-Mart for helping me circumvent computer issues so I can upload photos--we are back on track!!!

WEEK NINE:


string beans, carrots, lettuce, snap peas, cabbage, shelling peas

lettuce with cassis vinaigrette

dry sauteed string beans with soy sauce, garlic, ginger and scallions

"kimchee" adapted from Angelica Kitchen's cookbook, The Angelica Home Kitchen.
I put it in quotes because there is no fermentation in this one--just vinegar--and it's also vegan.

Last Leg peaches (they had only a few hours left in them) with Bourbon compote

does kimchee usually have meat in it?? i had no idea! i'm gonna have a very sad vegetarian on my hands soon....

usually, fish sauce is added--so he's in the clear!!
